About the Town:
Wrentham is a 22 square mile town with about 11,000 residents. As part of Norfolk County, it is surrounded by Norfolk, Foxboro, Plainville, Cumberland RI, Bellingham and Franklin.
West Wrentham, or Sheldonville, is a rural section of town that maintains some of the farming history of the area. Residents enjoy small and commercial farms and orchards, like the popular Big Apple Farm.
The town has two major lakes: Lake Pearl, Lake Archer and a small lake named Mirror Lake. Lake Pearl offers public amenities such as a beach, kayaking, paddle boarding and a boat landing.
In the summer months, the town offers free weekly concerts on the common and occasional movies on the common.
Wrentham Day, a Saturday in September, is a community celebration that hosts local vendors and events. The Wrentham Wroad Wrace and the world’s longest banana split are arguably the largest draws!
